THE EASY TUNE FACES

The Easy Tune Faces were a short-lived keyboard project with instrumental easy tune keyboard versions of songs by The Titfaces.

The basis for The Easy Tune Faces was laid in the night of April 11 to 12, 1998, when Danny returned from a Kru$h gig in Alkmaar in a bus with about 40 friends and acquaintances. When at some point during the journey Hammond cover songs by John Verkroost were played on the tape deck in this bus Danny got the idea of recording some instrumental keyboard versions of songs by The Titfaces (one of the bands he played guitar for at the time). After rewriting and recording six songs inspired by the then recently developed Dutch music genre easy tune, in May the tape Hits To Ruin Your Party got released.
